An AC architecture designed for park expansion, not just new construction

• AC coupling on DAB base (Dual Active Bridge) : the MS-8K-U/PRO connects downstream of the existing inverter, without intervention on the DC wiring or on the strings in place.

• Compatible with existing PV installations, regardless of brand. This is the game-changer for a retrofit project: no hybrid compatibility constraints, no need to replace the existing inverter to add storage.

• Tension DC interne < 30 V. Architecture basse tension côté cellules, sans risque d'arc électrique DC à manipuler sur chantier — un argument sécurité qui pèse autant à la pose qu'à la maintenance.

• Single, three-phase and auxiliary phase installations. A single management unit for all energy renovation cases, including three-phase configurations with auxiliary neutral.

What the PRO version actually changes

• Life cycles: 15,000 (PRO) versus 10,000 — for intensive use in peak shaving or dynamic tariff management, where the battery cycles several times a day.

• Warranty up to 25 years, reserved for PRO. On a C&I project amortized over a long period, the difference in warranty compared to the standard version is a selection criterion in itself, not a commercial detail.

• Same envelope, same integration : 830 × 480 × 195 mm, mounting Ground or wall-mounted indifferently on both versions — no technical arbitration to be made on the installation between standard and PRO.

What remains the same between the two versions

• Capacity up to 8 kWh, 5 kW max output power, 90% AC round-trip efficiency.

• LFP chemistry, 314 Ah cells, IP66, intelligent air cooling, operating range −30 to 55 °C.

What is the difference between the MS-8K-U and the MS-8K-U PRO?
The warranty is up to 25 years on the PRO model only. The electrical specifications, capacity, and dimensions are identical on both versions.

Does the battery work with an inverter from another brand?
Yes. AC coupling separates the battery from the existing PV inverter: it connects to the grid side, without depending on the brand or protocol of the inverter already in place on the installation.

Is the MS-8K-U suitable for a three-phase installation?
Yes, the management unit covers single-phase, three-phase installations and configurations with an auxiliary phase, without changing the equipment as appropriate.

What safety benefits does a voltage below 30V provide?
It eliminates the risk of DC arcing on the cell side, a common concern with high-voltage DC batteries. The integrated AC system also provides automatic fire detection and suppression.

Can the battery be controlled according to dynamic electricity tariffs?
