HUAWEI - USB to WLAN adapter

The Huawei Smart USB-WLAN Adapter (USB 2000-C Adapter) is a plug-in Wi-Fi module that enables local maintenance of Huawei inverters via the SUN2000 app from a smartphone. It plugs into the inverter's USB port and creates a WLAN hotspot to which the installer's phone connects to access configuration, diagnostic, and commissioning settings.

This module is not a replacement for a Smart Dongle : it does not provide a permanent connection to FusionSolar. Its use is temporary and limited to on-site intervention. Once the operation is complete, the module must be removed and the USB port dust cover reinstalled.

The connection is established via Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz) with a range of 10 m in open space. Pairing is done by scanning the module's QR code or by manual connection via the SUN2000 app (version 3.2.00.001 minimum, Android). The network name is "Adapter-[module SN]", and the initial password is "Changeme," which must be changed upon first use.
