Description
The SUN5000-150KTL-MG0 is a 150 kW three-phase inverter from the SUN5000 Series, positioned for high-power C&I installations and power plants. Ground It delivers 150,000 W nominal power and can reach 165,000 W active power at cos phi = 1 (165 kVA). Its 12 string inputs handle a maximum short-circuit current of 66 A, with an integrated smart circuit breaker per string that replaces traditional fuses.
Maximum efficiency reaches 98.8% at 480 V (EU efficiency 98.4%) . The operating voltage range extends from 200 to 1000 V with a maximum input voltage of 1100 V. With a three-phase output of 380/400/480 Vac, the rated current is 216.5 A at 400 V. The total harmonic distortion remains below 1%.
The inverter operates exclusively with MERC-1100/1300W-P optimizers in a complete configuration (each Solar panel must be equipped with one optimizer) . Strings consist of 12 to 20 optimizers, with a maximum power output of 20 kW per string. The recommended DC/AC ratio varies from 0.8 to 1.6 depending on the number of strings (9 to 12). The MBUS bus provides communication with the optimizers (galvanic isolation from the grid is required).
Protection features include AFCI, terminal temperature detection, PID recovery, Type II DC and AC surge arresters, RCMU, and short-circuit protection. Intelligent cooling, IP66 rated, 1000 x 710 x 395 mm, weight ≤ 100 kg. Operating temperature: -25 °C to +60 °C, 4000 m range. DC connectors: Amphenol HH4, AC connector: waterproof + OT/DT terminal block. Communication: RS485, USB, WLAN, optional 4G/WLAN Smart Dongle.
