Description
The SMA Backup 1PM BU-SBSE-1P-50 is a backup power supply for single-phase installations equipped with a Sunny Boy Smart Energy inverter. It ensures a continuous power supply in the event of a mains power outage thanks to automatic switching, as described in the SMA documentation, with an adjustable switching time between 0 and 600 seconds. The system thus guarantees that essential equipment remains powered, even during a prolonged interruption.
The external enclosure, shown on page 1, offers dedicated slots for integrating an external RCD, DC-SPD surge protection, a Sunny Home Manager, or an SMA Energy Meter CT. It can be installed indoors or outdoors thanks to its IP65 protection rating.
